OUR STORY
My name is Kelsey, my husband's name is Jake, I'm a wife, mom, & business owner. I have been cleaning since the young age of 13! My mom would clean residential houses throughout my childhood, and I would be her gopher. This continued throughout my teens. At the young age of 18, I had my first child & got married, I was a stay-at-home mom of 3 for 7 years! During this time I had worked for cleaning companies off and on over the years, & one was nothing shy of a cleaning boot camp if you will. Haha. She was VERY picky. My Ex-husband at the time decided it was best if I just stayed home & took care of the kids and not worked.
One day I decided to chase a better life for my kids as well as myself. I enrolled myself into a CNA program & was determined to pass, I achieved my goals & began working as a CNA. My divorce was final. I rekindled with my best friend, & soulmate who is now my husband. I kept trying to make the CNA life work, but I just wasn't cut out for that. I worked for one of Knoxville's best cleaning companies & really excelled. I impressed the owner with all my techniques I had learned throughout the years, I absolutely loved my job! Unfortunately, we ended up moving so I had to find other work. It was bittersweet. Jake & I got married and had our first child in May of 2023! Times were tough as my pregnancy was high risk, and our baby spent days in the NICU. Those 6 weeks went fast, & rent is expensive these days, but I couldn't bring myself to throw my baby into daycare. I reached out to my husband's best friends' mom who had a well-established cleaning business specifically in short term rentals. After cleaning with her one-time she was highly impressed with me and the way I cleaned. In fact, she said "I've never met anyone who cleans the same way I do" I landed her several 5-star reviews on my cleans for her company. She said "You should seriously start your own business" I laughed. She trusts in me to meet and exceed all her expectations & I couldn't be more proud to honor that. I still work for her off and on today in between my cleans. She is a huge inspiration to me & my company & is part of the reason I've opened my own business because she believed in me. I never dreamed at the age I am now I would be a business owner, but here we are!
My husband (Jake) is a field service technician for one of east Tennessee's largest construction companies. He's been with them almost 7 years! If it's broke, he can fix it. Jake is such a huge asset to our business because he's very smart & can fix literally anything. He takes over the " & More" on our business side as he offers light maintenance duties, pressure washing, light landscaping, etc. He's often helping me with hot tub cleans, anything outside, etc. Don't let him get you, he's not too good to push a vacuum or a mop either. :) In our free time we enjoy, spending time with our kids, playing games. I love reading, & TV. Jake enjoys PlayStation & adventures.
